superfluous window dressing

Drawings, Illustrations etc. by Dave

SO... A little over a year ago, for some strange and inexplicable reason, I suddenly felt the urge to start drawing again. Not that I'd ever really stopped — I'm what you might call a 'compulsive doodler', something I've been afflicted with since an early age.

But, alas, I'd never really had neither the will nor the discipline to develop this odd little compulsion into something more substantial (like, for instance, an actual skill maybe?). Then, one fateful day back in 2017, I resolved that it was about time I made a concerted effort to improve my drawing abilities the old-fashioned way — by practicing like crazy, whenever at all possible.

Anyways, here it is: a year into this weird and wonderful journey, and yes, I'm continuing to stick with the "draw somthing every day" routine. Has the skill level has improved at all? Yeah, getting there I guess — slowly but surely. Like they say, it's a marathon, not a sprint.

FEB. 2019 — Participating in #OpusDailyPractice over on Instagram. Great fun, but also a little humbling as well — a lot of REALLY talented artists out there! But whatever, here are some of the slightly less sucky things I've posted:

But wait! There's more! If you are so inclined, we'd like to direct you to our GALLERY PAGE where you'll find tons of additional stuff.

ANYWAYS, enough with the superfluous flummery. In closing, if you do happen to like what you see here, feel free to share via social media or whatever (attribution and/or a link back to the site would be awesome). Also, regarding commission work... Certainly! Give me a shout!
